Robotics Projects using AVR:
Project Title: Bluetooth Based Robotics Car.
We are very familiar with the robots, In every house we can found these Robotic cars which children wrostly plays with. A high Speed Robotic car is made which is free from the wired connection that means, it is wireless. To operate it wirelessly we used a bluetooth module HC05 and for driving motors we used our common current amplifier IC named L293D. The Bluetooth module HC05 is connected with a mobile app. known as SENA Bluetooth terminal.
These both ends HC05 and mobile phone communicate with each other via serial communication. The registers used in serial communication are UCSRA, UCSRB, USCRC, UBRR. We can easily find the working of these register on the internet or any book of AVR. The Baud Rate used is 9600 which is mostly common and used in various devices. When ever we press character 'W' our robot moves forward similarly when ever we press character 'S' Robot moves backward. When we press 'A' robot moves left and 'D' Robot moves right just interface L293D with ATMEGA 16 and interface the bluetooth connect that bluetooth with your mobile app. and run the Robot. Similarly we can make bluetooth based home automation.
