ATMEGA 16/32 is the main part of this development board. It controls all the execution part of the code. The code is written & compiled into a software known as ATMEL Studio. It generates a hex file after the compilation of code. This hex file is burned into the micro controller using the ISP Pin. Here ISP stand for In System Programmer.

Embedded System Projects Details Offered by CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

The project name is "Distance measurement using ultrasonic sensor module".

Description: It works similar to that of a radar or sonar by interpreting the echoes of radio or sound waves generated by the sensor.
Hardware used: The main task of this project is calculate the the distance and display on the lcd. In this project we are using an ultrasonic sensor module, Microcontroller AT89s52,crystal of frequency 11.0592MHz and a LCD.
How it works: The ultrasonic sensor module provides 2cm - 400cm non-contact
Measurement function and accuracy can reach to 3mm.To use this module we need to send a 10us high level signal to its’ trigger pin.
The ultrasonic sensor automatically sends eight 40kHz and detect whether there is a
Pulse signal back. We can calculate the distance by using this logic,
{Test distance = (high level time × velocity of sound (340M/S) / 2};
We only need to supply a 10us pulse to the trigger input to start the ranging, and then the module will send out an 8 cycle burst of ultrasonic weave at 40 kHz and raise its echo. The Echo is a Distance object that is pulse width and the range in proportion .You can Calculate the range through the time interval between sending trigger signal and
Receiving echo signal. We can use this ultrasonic sensor in place of IR sensor and could get better result in sun shine, where IR sensor Can not perform well and the range can also be increase by using ultrasonic sensor.
